The Turn
Each cycle ends when orders given during the cycle are processed.
This prescheduled downtime, referred to as the turn, lets all movement, battle, and creation information process. Players logged onto the game when the turn begins are locked out. Likewise, players trying to enter the game when turn information is processing, cannot.
The turn consists of eight phases, executed in order:
Production
Construction starts or continues on all structures. Orders are executed to create lessers and conjure and summon forms, consuming treasure and fury in the process. See Production for more information.
Allegiances
All changes to player allegiances are analyzed and processed. See Allegiance and Allies for more information.
Spells
Movement & Battles
All deployed forces move toward destination regions, but first stop on the border.

Opposing forces meeting on the same border do battle. The winner of the battle on the border proceeds to the region interior.
Should any opposing forces reside in the region's interior, another battle would take place. If no opposing force exists on the border, no battle occurs and the forces move to the destination region's interior.
All battles are resolved during this phase.
Cede Regions
Players may transfer ownership of regions to neighboring players by Ceding these regions to the other player.

If, after battles have occured, the player still owns the region they are Ceding, then the region is transferred to the player selected. Otherwise, the player who took the region in battle keeps the region.
All lessers, forms, and structures present at the time that the region ownership is transferred also become owned by the new player. This includes forms which are being absorbed, since they are not absorbed until later in the Turn.
Resources
Each occupied region produces treasure according to the region's terrain type.
Absorption

Forms are absorbed at temples.
Cleanup
Lastly, various cleanup operations are performed. This includes:

Lessers getting upgraded/downgraded based on the number of Black Betweens owned by players,
lessers owned by players and are on dunes are subject to dying, and lessers/forms trapped on inaccessible regions are killed off
