It wasn't extremely difficult, but it wasn't exactly easy either. Let's just say, moving Evernight is definitely an interesting project.
The hosting move was actually about a month ahead of the schedule we were planning. It was the frequency of the tick server failing compounded by remote access also failing that prompted us to accelerate the timetable to move the hosting.
At least now we can more closely monitor the health of the site and when something does go wrong, we can do something about it in a much more timely manner.

So far it's been looking good.
We're just a few hours shy of completing our first full week and the tick service has been running reliably with 0 errors.
Although we are getting an occasional very cryptic error message (unrelatd to the ticks) and we haven't been able to figure out what's causing it.
We're not even sure it's something that would be obviously noticeable in the browser. We think it probably shows up as a very intermittent time-out error for a specific asset request.
